The charm with Lillekilde is that our groups are each housed in separate buildings with own entrance. So, despite the fact that the institution houses many children, it makes it seem small, homely and intimate.
The groups and our facilities are divided as follows:
3 nurseries – Sommerfuglen, Mariehønen and Brumbassen – each situated in the ground floor of an apartment block, where they have their own toilet, baby changing facilities, wardrobe, dining room, playroom and outdoor crib room. Moreover Brumbassen has its own kitchen and wash house and Mariehønen has a door leading out to a fenced in terrace and a wash house with storage room.
1 middle group – Guldsmeden – in the middle of the yard with own kitchen, toilet, diaper changing facilities, 2 playrooms, 1 pillow room and outdoor crib room.
1 kindergarten group – Bogfinken – with own wardrobe, tea kitchen, toilets, pre-school and story-telling room, creative workshop, Lego-room and a big playroom, which is also used as dining room. In addition to this, a lovely playground with tools, which fit the size and ability of pre-school children, so it creates the right challenges.
The kindergarten is situated further down the street in Trekronergade 122, but it opens together with the middle group and they also closed together in the afternoon except for Fridays, where Bogfinken has Friday Café.
In Trekronergade 54-56 we also have a nice outdoor area – The Yard – where we have a playground with a roller coaster, playhouses, sandpit, balance bridge and small swing boards. Furthermore, we have an apple tree for the children to climb in and pick apples during autumn.
Right in the middle of all the groups in Trekronergade 54-56 we have Sneglehuset. Here you find our tumble and rhythmic room, the creative workshop, meeting room, the secretary’s office, storage, Mao’s kitchen and the manager’s office.
We also have a staff room and the janitor’s office/workshop
